Lee Purcell

Lee Purcell is the recipient of two Prime-Time Emmy nominations and has starred in many feature films, TV and stage productions internationally. Lee was discovered and mentored by the late Steve McQueen. She is also a director, producer and a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (OSCARS) and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (EMMYS). Lee is also a dedicated SAG-AFTRA activist.

Michael Carnegie

Michael Carnegie is an actor and editor who co-produces The Hollywood Radio Players (HRP).

As a member of HRP, he has played several roles in HRP productions, including "Orson Welles" in THE WAR OF THE WORLDS, “Riley“ ( originated by William Bendix) in THE LIFE OF RILEY, “Beast” in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, "Osgood Conklin" in OUR MISS BROOKS and "Matt Dillon” ( originated on radio by William Conrad) in GUNSMOKE. 

Michael has spent his career in voiceover, film, television, and theater where he is known for voicing the role of the Flatulating Pig Attila in the animated feature “Attila and the Great Blue Bean”.  Michael is originally from the small town of Calistoga, but currently lives in Orange County with the love of his life, Ellen, who he met on TV’s “Love Connection” television show in 1991.

David Westberg

Born and raised in Seattle, where gray, drizzly days gave in to hours of listening to the radio, pre-television, Westberg began acting at an early age on stages in the Emerald City. His affection with radio spawned what he considers a most valuable tool for an actor, a fertile and active imagination. Graduating in Radio-TV Speech at Washington State, he served a stint in the Navy, then headed to Hollywood to seek his fame and fortune.

Amalisha HuEck

Born in Zagreb Croatia, Amalisha grew up within the theater and film walls. She crossed the ocean with big Hollywood dreams. Upon arrival she established with her best friend ‘The Theatre of South Slavs’ and for a few years they performed full size productions to her peers. The enthusiasm and persistence got her a few small roles in TV shows and films, a couple of national commercials and some voiceover jobs; The Avengers, Beyond the Enemy Lines, The November Man, The Haunted etc. After her main love - the theater, voiceover has always been her favorite thing.

Dana Kelly Jr.

Dana is a member of the Furious Theatre Company and Assoc. Member, New American Theatre. Dana appeared most recently in a number of theater productions including the award winning production Grace, Canned Peaches in Syrup at the Carrie Hamilton/Pasadena Playhouse, and the SAG productions of Gun Smoke and CBS Radio Mystery Theatre at the Autry Museum. If his voice sounds familiar, you have heard his distinctive tones on TV commercials, infomercials, video games, or as off-camera characters in films, such as Must Love Dogs. On-camera credits include Shoe Shine Boys and God Made Man, as well as the HBO movie, Breast Men, music videos and TV appearances on Comedy Central/Tosh.0, Justified, Retired at 35, Working Class, The Practice, Titus and Girlfriends

Dea McAllister

Dea McAllister was introduced to the world of drama at age 6 in Germany by her Air Force parents when she was seated in the audience of Hansel and Gretel ; and became enthralled by the acting and production.  She has experienced much, from award-winning high school theater, university, graduate school plays and summer stock theater as an AEA member to hosting a country music show, commercials, TV and film.  She has produced award winning documentaries and stage shows. Dea is honored to be on the SAG/AFTRA Radio Play committee and most especially feels blessed to continue to be able to work via zoom during the pandemic.

James Tripp

James is a veteran of the Los Angeles stage, having appeared in “Macbeth,” “A Woman Called Truth,” “¡Satiristas!,” “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “Julius Caesar” and his one-man show, “James Tripp’s America.” He appeared on the television shows, “Midnight Caller,” “On the Air,” and a pilot for SCTV’s Dave Thomas, called “Contempt of Court.” An established stand-up and sketch performer, James completed a two-year Meisner training program at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio. He was a political aide, a reporter for The Martha's Vineyard Times and was the news director for WMVY-FM radio. 

Josh Horowitz

Kris Frost

[ACTOR]

 Kris is originally from Porterville, CA, which is pretty much the Iowa of California. He is honored to be a part of the LA Radio Committee lead by David Westberg and has enjoyed venturing into voice over acting in addition to his numerous stage, TV, and Film acting credits. And diving into old time radio plays such as Gunsmoke, Dragnet, and The Hitchhiker has been a blast. He runs marathons to stay sane in this crazy business.

Nancy Wilson

[Actress]

Nancy has played several roles in HRP productions, including the mother, Margaret Anderson ( originated by June Whitley ), in FATHER KNOWS BEST, and she recently directed the HRP production of GUNSMOKE.  

She got her start in Los Angeles broadcasting working for KFWB, ABC Talkradio and KTWV-FM where she spent over ten years as a staff announcer. In addition to her broadcasting experience, she was the voice of Jazz for Korean Airlines and the signature voice for Digital Planet, the precursor to SIRIUS XM.

    
Nancy has done numerous on-camera and voice-over projects and is currently a highly sought after voice-over coach and demo producer.  

Rick Scarry

[ACTOR]

A veteran actor and member of SAG/AFTRA for over 45 years, Rick appears regularly on television, in films, on the stage and is a voice over pro. His many TV credits include roles on “VEEP”, “Scandal”, “Mad Men”, “Star Trek-The Next Generation”, “Desperate Housewives”, “The Office” and “Bones”. Film credits include “Space Cowboys” with Clint Eastwood, “The Negotiator” with Samuel Jackson, and many others. Rick started his career at a small radio station in his Ohio hometown, then served three years as a military broadcaster with the Armed Forces Radio & Television Service. Rick has also been a personality on several LA radio stations.
